“A Shirt For Every Season”
Rohan owns fewer shirts than anyone he knows - and wears every one of them.
He used to buy for the season in front of him and give it away in the next. Bengaluru’s weather made that easy: never quite hot, never quite cold, always changing its mind.
A single linen shirt changed the habit. It worked in the monsoon, in the dry heat of April, and layered under a jacket in December.
“The best thing I own is the thing I stopped having to think about.”
He now buys one piece at a time, slowly, and only when something wears out. The rest of the time he is simply getting dressed.
It has made mornings shorter and the wardrobe lighter - and, he admits, made him far more particular about fabric.

Rohan doesn’t describe himself as a conscious shopper. He just likes clothes that keep up with him.
Somewhere along the way, those turned out to be the same thing.
